Abstract

The ethanolic extracts of the whole sherb of Solanum xanthocarpum (Solanaceae) Schard & Wendl. against five Gram negative pathogenic bacterial species viz Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas auregenosa, Shigella sonnei, Shigella boydii, and Salmonella typhimurium were used.
